about

This compilation collects works made by poets who work with sound. Contributors were asked to respond to any or all of three poems taken from the ‘Tracking (notes)’ sequence in Tom Raworth’s 1973 book Act (see accompanying pdf). Most were motivated by the third of these, a diagram-poem. The title of the compilation, Attention Moves, is a phrase from a much later Raworth poem, ‘Errory’. See individual tracks for contributor notes.
